Mrs Rafif Al Amassi

University of Nottingham

Rafif Al Amassi is an architect and cultural heritage professional with Première Urgence Internationale on the INTIQAL 2030 programme. She safeguards heritage, strengthens community engagement, and supports youth initiatives in fragile contexts. Viewing heritage as a living resource for identity and resilience, she combines technical expertise and participatory practice to design initiatives linking protection, sustainability, and community wellbeing.

Dr. Mona Rashid Saeed Al Ali

University of Leicester

Dr Mona Al Ali is an academic and cultural-sector leader specialising in museum studies, education and heritage research. She is Founder and Director of Al Manhal Consultancy, providing expertise in museum research, interpretation, education, evaluation and accessibility. Chair of ICOM UAE and founder of the Emirati Studies Academic Network, she has held senior roles at the University of Sharjah and Sharjah Museums Authority. She holds a PhD in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester.

Ms Sarah Alagroobi

Royal College of Art

Sarah Alagroobi is a multidisciplinary artist, author, podcast host and educator with an MA from the Royal College of Art, London. Her practice explores culture and identity across Arab and Western contexts through post-colonial discourse. Her work has been featured in leading design magazines and exhibited internationally, including Somerset House, Salone del Mobile, Venice Biennale, Dutch Design Week and Art Dubai.
