Choose how to take your IELTS test and book online
You can take your test at one of our official test centres on paper or on a computer. All you need is a valid identification document and a bank card if you want to pay online.

What you need to book
- Make sure you have valid identification document, either a Passport or Emirates ID, at hand. The ID details must be entered during the registration process and the same ID must be presented on the test day for validation. The ID copy does not have to be uploaded when registering online. Test takers not having the valid ID on test day will be unable to take the test and will not be eligible for refund or transfer requests. Candidates under the age of 18 will have to provide the written consent by a parent or guardian in order to apply for a test place. Please note that IELTS is not recommended for test takers under the age of 16.
- Pay for your test. You can pay for your test through our online registration system. In the Reference section of your payment please write: [IELTS / family name / city / test date].
